O zi faină de duminică lângă Brașov

Am plecat în jur de 10 30 de acasă, am luat o cafea TO GO de la Croitoria de cafea și apoi am plecat împreună cu Iulia, Sara și Alex către Cetatea Feldioara.

Dacă nu știi ce poți face cu copiii într-o zi însorită de duminică și nici nu ai chef de condus prea mult uite că vin cu o idee. Că doar prin centrul vechi nu vrei să mergi și azi , ai fost deja ieri :).

Cetatea a fost construită undeva în secolul al XIII lea și renovată între anii 2013-2017. Cetatea asta frumoasă este de altfel cea mai importantă fortificație ridicată de cavalerii teutoni în Transilvania. Blink. Biletul de intrare costă 15 lei per adult și include harta cu atracțiile turistice din zona, precum și o introducere frumoasă în istoria locului, prezentare scurtă dar melodioasă făcută de doamna care vinde bilete. În interiorul cetății puteți vizita camerele ce adăpostesc veșminte populare vechi sau vestigii găsite în perimetrul fortificației. E tare plăcut să te adăpostești de căldură în camerele umbrite și răcoroase ale cetății atacate des de oștiri otomane și care în 1457 a fost distrusă de însuși Vlad Țepeș.

După vizita la cetate am plecat către Wolkendorf Bio Hotel and Spa din Vulcan. Hotel cu centru SPA (bazine exterioare și interioare, saune, hamam, sală salină, sală relax), loc de joacă pentru copii (în exterior și în interior), restaurant și multe activități ce pot fi întreprinse în locație sau în apropierea acesteia. Nu am văzut camerele însă am primit  info de încredere că ele sunt spațioase (încap chiar două pătuțuri de bebe și tot rămâne loc destul), curate și amenajate modern. Mi-a plăcut să văd biciclete pentru închiriat (incluse de altfel gratuit pentru oaspeți) cu opțiunea de a atașa remorcă pentru plimbat copiii. În Franța nu aveau la hotel așa ceva 🙂

Pentru cei care doresc să viziteze locația doar pentru prânz, prețul unui meniu de tip bufet este de 58 de RON per adult, copiii mici mănâncă gratuit. Meniul este variat și include supă sau ciorbă, diverse opțiuni pentru felul principal și desert (prăjituri de casă). Băuturile se plătesc separat.

Dacă nu am locui în Brașov ne-ar place să petrecem o noapte două aici, dar cum sunt destul de aproape de noi ne bucurăm să dăm o fugă și să ne încărcăm bateriile pe timp de zi în weekend. Cam asta poți face într-o zi de duminică pe lângă Brașov :). Sau combinatii de n luate cate k din cele de mai sus ;).

A nice Sunday near Brașov

EN: We left home around 10:30 in the morning, had a TO GO coffee from the Croitoria de cafea, and then left to see Cetatea Feldioara together with Iulia, Sara and Alex. If you did not know what you could do with the kids on a sunny Sunday and you are not in the mood of driving too much here’s an idea for spending some quality time in the weekend. For sure you don’t want to walk again in the old city center, you did that already yesterday :).

The fortress was built sometime in the 13th century and renovated between 2013-2017. This beautiful fortress is also the most important fortification built by the Teutonic knights in Transylvania. Blink ;). The entrance ticket costs 15 lei per adult and includes the map with all the tourist attractions in the area, as well as a beautiful introduction to the history of the place, a short but melodious presentation delivered by the lady who actually sells the entrance tickets.

Inside the fortress you can visit the rooms that house old folk clothing or vestiges found in the fortification area. It is very pleasant to hide from the outside heat in the shady and cool rooms of the citadel attacked by the Ottoman army a long time ago. Same building was destroyed by Vlad the Impaler himself in 1457.

After visiting the fortress we all went to Wolkendorf Bio Hotel and Spa in Vulcan. Hotel with SPA center (outdoor and indoor swimming pools, saunas, hammam, relaxation room), children’s playground (indoors and outdoors), restaurant and many activities that can be done at or near the place. I did not see the rooms myself but I got some trusted information that they are spacious (even with two baby cots inside and still enough room for walking around), clean and modernly arranged. I loved seeing bikes for rental (free of charge service for guests) with the option to attach a special kids carrier. In France they had no such thing at the hotel 🙂

For those who want to visit the place for lunch only, the price of a buffet menu is 58 RON per adult, the young children eat for free. The menu is varied and includes soup or “ciorba”, various options for main course and dessert (homemade cakes). Drinks are purchased separately.

If we didn’t live in Brasov we would have loved spending a night or two here, but since we are close enough to the location we are happy to drop by for a few hours and load our batteries for the busy weeks ahead.
