E cum să nu îți placă un resort localizat chiar în inima pădurii și care să dispună de SPA fabulos și restaurante faine cu specific românesc sau secuiesc? Am ochit de mult hotelul însă nu am reușit să ajungem până acum din varii motive. Cum niciodată nu e prea târziu iată-ne aici, undeva între Băile Tușnad și Târgu Secuiesc, aproape de Lacul Sfânta Ana, în formulă completă.
Acum că am văzut cât de mișto e aici, avem încă două weekenduri rezervate, unul în August și unul în Noiembrie whoop whoop. Sperăm doar să nu apară ceva imprevizibil și să trebuiască să amânăm.

Am plecat mega relaxați și energizati după doar două zile de bălăceala în bazinele cu ape sărate sau de izvor. E foarte fain să mergi cu copiii, piscina mică interioară e foarte sigură așa că poți sta liniștit pe sezlongurile de lângă, mai ales dacă sunteți părinții unor copii mai mari de 3 ani. Am văzut în schimb câțiva bebeluși mici mici la bălăceala cu părinții așa că vârsta cu siguranță nu e un impediment.
EN: I don’t know how it would be possible not to like a wonderful resort located right in the heart of the forest, with a fabulous SPA and fine Romanian or Szekler restaurants? I have been very much awaiting to reserve a room at the hotel, but we have not managed to get here until now for a number of reasons. As it is never too late, here we are, somewhere between Băile Tuşnad and Târgu Secuiesc, close to Saint Ana Lake, in a complete formula. Now that I have seen how cool this place is, we decided to add a reservation for two other weekends, one in August and one in November whoop whoop. We just hope that something unpredictable does not appear until then and that we won’t have to delay such an opportunity to relax ourselves once again.
We left the amazing place in a mega relaxed and energized mood after only two days of continueous play and swim in salty or spring waters. It’s really cool to go there with the kids, the small indoor pool for the little ones being very safe and offering you the chance to stay relaxed on the loungers right next to it. Especially if you are the parents of children older than 3 years who can enjoy the fun in the pool with other little ones. I have seen some very small babies in the swimming pool with their parents, so age is certainly not an impediment.
Centrul SPA/ SPA Center
Centrul de relaxare denumit Grand Santerra SPA include piscine interioare – apă de izvor, bazin cu hidromasaj (apă sărată sau de izvor), bazine Kneipp, multe tipuri de saună (Saună World), terasă, sala de fitness, cafe bar și camera salină. De asemenea, centrul fabulos dispune de jacuzzi și piscină exterioară care este momentan în renovare și urmează să se redeschidă publicului după 24 Iulie. Spațiile destinate tratamentelor pentru oaspeții centrului SPA sunt localizate chiar la intrarea în zona de relaxare.
EN: The Grand Santerra SPA relax center includes in-house pools – with spring water, hydromassage pool (salt or spring water), Kneipp pools, many saunas (World Saunas), terrace, fitness room, café bar and saline room. The fabulous center also features a jacuzzi and outdoor pool, which is currently under renovation and is due to be reopened to the public after 24 July. Spaces for the treatments offered to SPA guests are located right at the entrance to the relaxation area.
Catalogul serviciilor oferite de centrul SPA este disponibil în fiecare camera sau online astfel că va puteți face rezervare pentru diverse tratamente cu minim 24 de ore înainte de efectuarea ritualului sau a masajului ales. Prețurile tratamentelor faciale sau corporale/masaje variază de la 25 de EUR până la 85 EUR în funcție de durata și tipul acestora. Ați auzit vreodată de proceduri de mofeta? :))) Știu, sună foarte old school. Mofetele din zona Covasna spre exemplu sunt unice în Europa, prin concentrația de CO2 din gaze. Procedura cu mofete se face în mofetarii de obicei, un fel de “amfiteatre” în care pacienții stau în picioare . Corpul este expus la gaze doar în partea inferioară, pentru evitarea producerii unor intoxicaţii . Terapiile se fac doar la recomandarea unui medic, iar durata unei şedinţe nu trebuie să depăşească 20 minute. Dacă vreți să încercați tratamentul o puteți face și la Santerra SPA.
Intrarea la SPA este inclusă pentru oaspeți însă accesul este disponibil și pentru cei care vin aici doar pentru a se bucura de serviciile centrului. Intrarea pentru 3 ore costă 60 de RON de persoană vinerea și duminica, micuții peste 6 ani plătesc 40 de RON. Sâmbătă intrarea nu este permisă celor din afară hotelului.

Have you ever heard of “mofeta” procedures? :))) I know, it sounds very old school. The “mofetas” in the Covasna area, for example, are unique in Europe due to the concentration of CO2 in the gas. The mofet procedure is usually done in mofetars, a kind of “amphitheater” in which patients stand up. The body is exposed to gas only at the bottom in order to avoid poisoning. Therapies are only recommended by a doctor, and the duration of a session should not exceed 20 minutes. If you want to try the treatment you can do it at Santerra SPA.
The entrance to the SPA is included for guests but access is also available for those who come here just to enjoy the services of the center. An entry for 3 hours costs 60 RON per person on Fridays and Sundays, the kids over 7 years pay 40 RON. On Saturday the entrance is not allowed to outside guests.
CAMERE/THE ROOMS
Camerele sunt primitoare, atât din prisma design-ului rustic însă totodată modern cât și a priveliștii oferite. Puteți alege camere cu geam și vedere către pădure sau camere cu balcon, evident în funcție de nevoi și disponibilitatea acestora. Camerele variază de asemenea că dimensiune, de la cea standard (22mp) la cea superioară care vine cu avantajul spațiului oferit – 30mp. Am stat în cea standard fără balcon pentru că nu făcusem rezervare din timp și nu am dus lipsa de spațiu, din contra, ni s-a părut încăpătoare pentru 3 persoane. Vila Panorama care face și ea parte din același resort minunat oferă spre cazare apartamente cu unul, două sau chiar 4 dormitoare pentru familii mai mari sau grupuri de prieteni ce vor să împartă spațiile comune. Cu vedere directă la Munții Bodoc nu altfel 🙂
Prețul camerelor începe de la 420 de RON pe camera dublă (via Booking.com) cu mic dejun și acces full la SPA inclus. Având în vedere amplasarea hotelului, serviciile oferite și întreagă experiență în sine, ni s-a părut un preț rezonabil. Senzația de calm și fericire cu care am plecat de acolo e oricum priceless :). Asta a fost sentimentul nostru și al Marei în același timp, care își dorește maxim să revină la bălăceală aici.
EN: The rooms are very welcoming, both from the perspective of the rustic yet modern design as well as the views. You can choose the standard room with nice views over the forest or a room with balcony, obviously according to your needs and availability. The rooms also vary in size, the standard one having 22sqm whilst the superior one coming with the advantage of the space offered – 30mp. We stayed in a standard room without a balcony because we did not book early enough but the space was spacious enough for 2 adults and a kid. The Panorama Villa, which is also part of the wonderful resort, offers apartments with one, two or even 4 bedrooms for larger families or groups of friends who want to share the common spaces. And these rooms offer a direct superb view of the Bodoc Mountains 🙂
The room price starts at 420 RON per double room (via Booking.com) with breakfast and full access to SPA included. Due to the location of the hotel, the services offered and the whole experience in itself, it seemed to us a reasonable price. The feeling of calm and happiness after leaving the facility is anyhow priceless :).
That was our feeling and Mara’s at the same time, who desires to come back to this wonedrful hotel.
MÂNCARE /THE FOOD
Micul dejun e compus din feluri variate inclusiv omletă, ouă poșate, selecție de brânzeturi și mezeluri locale, legume proaspete, salate de vinete/hummus/brânză, gemuri, produse de pariserie și lactate felurite. La fel și sucurile oferite sunt interesante – suc de măr și morcov, suc de portocale, suc detox (credem că era suc de lucerna), suc de lămâie și soc. Nu sub formă de fresh, însă textura apropiată cumva.
Resort-ul dispune de 3 restaurante, Restaurant Grand Hotel (unde se servește și micul dejun), Restaurant Fork ce oferă un meniu gourmet și Gastrolab localizat chiar în curtea exterioară. De data asta ne-am bucurat de cină și prânzul de a doua zi la Gastrolab și nu ne pare rău. Meniul e foarte fain, ingredientele 100% locale iar specialitățile secuiești de-a dreptul minunate. Am servit păstrăv la grătar, cârnăciori de casă și piure, colțunași cu ciuperci de pădure și sos de brânză maturată alăturați unei porții de castraveți covăsiti și totul a fost fantastic de bun. Spuneam că mă simt ca acasă unde Mugur mereu gătește ceva fain cu ingrediente locale. Se întâmplă rar să mai mâncăm ceva la fel de bun că acasă.
EN: Breakfast is made up of varied dishes including omelette, poached eggs, cheese and local sausages, fresh vegetables, eggplant / hummus salads / local cheese, jams, pastry products and various dairy products. The juices offered are also interesting – apple and carrot juice, orange juice, detox juice (we think it was lucerne juice), lemon and elderflower juice. Not exactly freshly squeezed juice but close to it as a texture.
The resort has 3 restaurants, Grand Hotel Restaurant (where breakfast is served), Fork Restaurant offering a gourmet menu and Gastrolab located right in the outdoor courtyard. This time we enjoyed dinner and the next day lunch at Gastrolab and I think it was a great choice. The menu is very cool, the ingredients 100% local, offering great Szekler specialties. We’ve served grilled trout, homemade sausages with mashed potatoes, forest mushrooms dumplings with matured cheese sauce joined to a pickle cucumbers salad. Everything was fantastic. I was saying that I feel like home where Mugur always cooks something good using local ingredients. It’s quite rare to eat anything as good as home these days.
Barul hotelului e deosebit (Lobby Bar), din păcate nu am avut ocazia să degustam din băuturile oferite, promitem să o facem data viitoare când revenim.
EN: The hotel bar is great (Lobby Bar), unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to taste the drinks they offer, we promise to do it the next time when we come back to the wonderful place.
Pentru amatorii de distracție și adrenalină, hotelul oferă o grămadă de activități: închiriere biciclete, adventure park, drumeții, offroad, teren multifuncțional de sport, zid de escalare, tir cu arcul. E clar că nu ai cum să te plictisești.
Ce e interesant e că resort-ul este des vizitat de animăluțele cu blană 🙂 Și mă refer aici la familiile de ursuleți :). Așa că e nevoie de ceva atenție sporită în ceea ce privește plimbarea în zona, în special în pădurile ce înconjoară hotelul și facilitățile sale. Noi nu am văzut, însă ni s-a spus ca și-au făcut apariția în zonă cu câteva zile înainte să ajungem noi acolo.
EN: For the fun and adrenaline fans, the hotel offers a wealth of activities: bike rental, adventure park, hiking, off-road, multifunctional sports ground, escalation wall, archery. It’s obvious you can not get bored around.
What’s interesting is that the resort is often visited by furry wild animals 🙂 And I am reffering to the bear families living around the woods :). Some extra attention is needed when walking around the area, especially in the woods surrounding the hotel and its facilities. We didn’t see any bear this weekend, but we were told that they visited the area of the hotel a few days before we got there.
