Pentru a doua oară la NOA Restaurant și pentru a doua oară impresionată la maxim de locație, de priveliște și de serviciile impecabile.
Restaurantul este în topul celor mai bune din Tallinn, însă asta se datorează în mare parte design-ului interior (scandinav) și a priveliștii care e cu adevărat unică. E amplasat chiar pe malul marii, dispune de terasă parcă ruptă din rai, loc ideal pentru a îți petrece o seară și mai apoi o noapte albă. La propriu. Pozele de mai jos sunt făcute undeva pe la 9-10 PM deci destul de târziu aș zice. Soarele apune frumos în jur de 11 30 PM în luna Iunie și nu se întunecă 100% nici după această oră. Oaspeții (sau “prieteni” așa cum își numesc ei clienții) restaurantului pot viziona apusul soarelui în toată splendoarea sa, stand la masă și bucurându-se de bucate alese și băuturi reci cu bule.
Terasa restaurantului e locul perfect pentru degustări de vin, admirat peisajul si urmarit vasele de croazieră din depărtare doar, acestea fiind cele care genereaza se pare o mare parte din veniturile orașului. Sunt zile în care 4 vase de croazieră acostează în același timp, dimineața devreme, ceea ce înseamnă că sunt aproximativ 8000 de turiști liberi să se bucure de frumusețea centrului istoric al orașului. În același timp :). De altfel localnicii evită plimbările în centru în zilele aglomerate. Sunt multe de spus despre Tallinn dar voi scrie un articol separat despre asta mai târziu.
Meniul interesant per total, inclusiv cel de cocktail-uri și de vinuri. După un pahar de Cava, altul de Chablis, ceva aperitive (icre somon, crema de smântână, salată de ceapă, somon crud), cod bisque și un Espresso cu Vodka & Tiramisu foam ca desert mă declar mulțumită și gata de nani. Bine…a mai fost și un shot de Vana Tallinn ;).
Mâncarea estoniană e ok-ish, nu pot spune că e chiar pe gustul meu având în vedere că majoritatea dish-urilor sunt un pic dulci. Anyway, la NOA peștele e gătit perfect, posibil să fi fost chiar pescuit din zona, iar toast-ul cu smântână și icre de somon de la aperitiv este unul dintre felurile mele preferate de mâncare.
Concluzia e că merită să încercați meniul restaurantului dacă aveți ocazia să ajungeți în Tallinn, atmosfera din local e chiar una super relaxată, iar view-ul pe măsură.

EN: This is my second time at NOA Restaurant and actually the second time I am impressed by the location itself, its views and the overall service :). The restaurant is one of the best in Tallinn, but this is mainly due to the interior design (scandinavian) and the views outside which are truly unique. It is set right on the seafront, it has a heavenly terrace, an ideal place to spend an evening or even a white night. Literally. The pictures below are taken somewhere around 9-10 PM, so pretty late I would say. The sun sets around 11:30 PM in June but it does not get 100% dark even after that hour. Guests (or “friends” as they call their clients) can watch the splendid sunset, just standing at the table and enjoying the diner accompanied by the bubbly drinks. The restaurant’s terrace is the perfect place for wine tasting and for admiring the entire scenery, whilst the cruise ships – curiously followed by my eyes from far – generate a great part of the city’s revenue. They have days when four cruise ships disembark – early in the morning – meaning that 8,000 tourists are free to enjoy the beauty of the historic city center. In the same time :). In fact, locals avoid walking in the city center during such crowded days. There is much to say about Tallinn but I will write a separate article about it later on.
Overall the menu is simple and short, but still an interesting one, especially on the cocktails and the wine side. After a glass of Cava, another of Chablis, some appetizers (salmon caviar, sour cream, onion salad, raw salmon), code bisque and an espresso with vodka & Tiramisu foam as a desert, I am happy and ready for going to sleep. Okay … not to forget that there was a Vana Tallinn shot before we left ;). Estonian food is ok-ish, I can not say that it’s really a favourite, since most dishes are a bit sweet for my taste. Anyway, at NOA the code was perfectly cooked and the toast with sour cream and salmon caviar is one of my favorite dishes.
You should definetly check out the restaurant if you have the opportunity to visit Tallinn, mainly for the general atmosphere which is a very relaxed one and for the astonishing views of the bay.
