Elliniko Steki – La Grecu’, Constanța

Feta kafteri (feta, rosii, ardei, ulei de masline – la cuptor), salată horiatiki, lemonato de pui la cuptor, cartofi prăjiți, souflaki.. Pfu, greu sa te decizi cu un așa meniu in față.

Unul dintre cele mai bune restaurante din Constanța din punctul meu de vedere, local care pentru noi nu a avut un nume clar vreodată. Pentru că mereu am mers La Grecu’ (Elliniko Steki in acte :)), restaurantul poate fi găsit în cartierul unde a copilărit Mugur, pe strada Ion Lahovari, la parterul casei lui Bucur. Am venit mereu aici pentru prânzul delicios de sâmbătă sau de duminică pe vremurile când dădeam o fugă la mare în weekend. Aproape în fiecare weekend de fapt :).

Localul micuț nu e unul cu dichis, ci decorat modest în stil grecesc, cu ritmuri elene pe fundal.

Un lucru e clar, dacă nu ajungi în Grecia anul asta, vine ea la tine aici, cu tot cu mâncarea, atmosfera si muzica ei specifică :).

One of the best restaurants in Constanța from my point of view, La Grecu’ restaurant as we used to call it (Elliniko Steki is actually its real name), is a hidden gem in the neighborhood where Mugur spent a great part of his childhood, located on Ion Lahovari street, on the ground floor of Bucur’s house. We always had delicious lunches on Saturday or Sunday back in the time when we used to spend most of our summer weekends at the seaside. Actually, we used to be there almost every weekend :).

The little place is not a dice, on the contrary it is modestly decorated in a Greek style and with Greek rhythms in the background.

One thing is clear, if you don’t go to Greece this summer, Greece comes to you in this lovely place, with its fabulous food, its atmosphere and its specific music :).
